In response to advances in technology and the changing needs of the community, The Bridge endeavors to develop resources and services that meet the cultural, informational, recreational, and educational needs of Oberlin's diverse community. It is within this context that The Bridge offers access to the Internet. All Internet resources accessible through The Bridge are provided equally to all Bridge users. The Bridge’s computers provide access to the Internet, which is a global entity with a highly diverse user population. Patrons of The Bridge use the Internet at their own risk.


It is understood by users of the Internet that most of the information available is not generated by The Bridge. Information available through the Internet is not warranted by The Bridge to be accurate, authoritative, factual or complete. The availability of networked information via The Bridge does not constitute any endorsement or ratification of the information. The Bridge is not responsible for the content of networked information available. The use of the Internet to engage in any activity which constitutes violation of local, state, and/or federal laws is strictly prohibited. All users of this service agree to hold The Bridge harmless and blameless for any and all claims, losses, damages, obligations or liabilities, directly or indirectly relating to the use of the Internet, caused thereby or arising there from.
